Adaptive Planning: FY27 Budget Planning
Adaptive Planning allows for real-time budget data and is helping move Washington University closer to being a data-driven institution. Training is recommended prior to using this tool. Refer to Adaptive Planning Training for details. Adaptive Planning has been implemented across WashU Medicine, Danforth Campus, CFU, and Auxiliaries to support:
- Annual budget development process
- In-year estimates
- Multi-year budget
- Monthly reporting of Budget versus Actuals
Workday Operational Calendar
The Workday Operational Calendar provides an overall view of the Workday operational deadlines for financial and human resources transactions. Use this resource to view category details like:

Updates for FY27 Budget Planning
Updates for the FY27 operational budget reflect changes to align university resources with current and future areas of growth. Areas included are WashU Medicine and Danforth, Central Fiscal Units (CFU), and Auxiliary Units. To request security access for Adaptive Planning, refer to the Adaptive Planning Security Access section of the Get Help page.
Note: The person requesting access for a user should be the security approver. If the request is placed by a user other than the security approver, this will delay completion of the Security Request.
